What we do
Functional, Live Edge Furniture cut from locally sourced trees that succumbed to nature. each piece is as unique as the tree it came from . Different shapes of the tree inspire us to create something with the flow of the outer edge

Choose from a large assortment of live edge slabs with or without bark , 1 1/4″ thick to 2 3/4″ thick x 12″- 38” wide up to 10 feet long, in stock from domestic species such as pine , basswood (linden) , maple , spalted maple , oak, ash , red elm , walnut , tree of heaven, black cherry .

From Tree to Table: We cut our own wood then stack it for drying. It is further processed by flattening with a large format CNC router and sanded with a large sander ready for hand finishing and cutting to size.

We Have Over 30 Years of Experience In The Wood Working Industry
Having been in the residential remodelling business for most of my career has given me an insight as to how to arrange many shapes together to blend into usable objects , indoors or outdoors. Curved benches , work stations cut from arched branches , the possibilities are endless. The joy is working with the shape as presented by nature in the salvaged wood which may otherwise be destined for firewood.
Each piece is as unique as the tree it was taken from , with its own story . For instance the pine tables, taken from a very large White Pine tree that fell across a main road and filled the front yard of the opposite property in a storm, was approximately 100 years old , circa 1914.
The cherry tables were cut from a very large black cherry tree backing onto a railway corridor . It had a hollow section in the main fork that made it a danger to the owner so it was taken down. It also was quite large , approx 36″ at the base and at least 60′ tall.
This tree would have been cut up for firewood but saving it at the last moment left a sense of relief to me and my coworkers. Sometimes there is a reward in knowing that the smallest move to conserve our dwindling resources can have an impact on the planet.
